Review of year-to-date financials through January 31, 2023:

General Fund Expenditures: $154,260.78
Enterprise Fund Expenditures: $ 11,799.55

of 13 vendors totaling: $118,979.98.

10) The Presentation of the draft Incorporated Village of Bellport, South Country Caterer
License Agreement by David Moran, Village Attorney.
11) Resolution # _____ Approve the extension of the Incorporated Village of Bellport, South
Country Caterer License Agreement License Agreement, giving the authority to the
Mayor for signature, once completed.
12) Resolution # _____ Approve the Public Hearing to be set for the Incorporated Village of
Bellport, Cablevision Agreement on April 24, 2023, at 7:00PM.
13) Resolution # _____ Approve the 2005 Chevrolet Expedition, Vehicle Unit V3, be
excessed.
14) Resolution # _____ Accept the FEMA Communication regarding Project Worksheet
1615– COVID Reimbursement Funding has been paid and the project is closed.
15) Resolution # _____ Accept and Approve the Service Contract from Pinnacle Land
Surveyors, LLP, for the Golf Course Survey Project, in the amount $59,000.
16) Updates:
a) FEMA Main Pier Project submission of partial payment request for $1.272M, of
which the Village will receive 90%, or $1.148M. This is the first approved payment
request by New York State Department of Homeland Security – Emergency Services
(NYS DHSES). This week, we are continuing the submission payment process to
NYS DHSES with the next tranche of $721K. We anticipate two additional requests,
equaling a total of $1.107M, the remaining fees of the project.
On February 13, 2023, the Village received its first FEMA partial payment, of
$1,138,642.92, directly into our Dime Bank account.
b) Congressionally Directed Spending Requests Fiscal Year 2022: $2.8M Awarded
March 11, 2022 for the Marina Basin and Hum Marina; Received Letter of Invitation
(LOI) from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and
guidelines on July 28, 2022.

The Grant Award of up to $2.8M, at 75% of the total cost, whereby the Village would
fund the remaining 25%, or $933,333, for a total potential project of $3,733,333. This
2022 Congressional Spending Allocation Grant Award has been offered by the
Federal Government through HUD.

c) Submission on March 6, 2023 - Congressionally Directed Spending Request, Fiscal
Year 2024 – Howells Point Coastal Resiliency Project: The Village’s $4.44M
Submission includes: Terminus of 3 Streets: S. Howells, Thornhedge, Otis, and the
erosion on Howells Creek. It was delivered to Senator Schumer’s and Gillibrand’s
Offices via a federal internet portal and we are hopeful for the next step in the process
with the approval Senate Appropriations Committee for further consideration. In
addition, we are completed our submission to US Representative Garbarino’s Office,
on March 14, 2023.
d) New York State budget funding requests to Senator Murry and Assemblyman
DeStefano, on February 9, 2023.
Villages of Bellport and Patchogue requesting funding for a shared service purchase of a bucket truck.

g) Employee Search: the replacement of the Village Treasurer position.
h) Upcoming Election: Mayor and 2 Trustee seats will be opened for the Village
Election which will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 7am – 9pm at the
Bellport Community Center, located at 4 Bell Street, Bellport NY, 11713.

i) Village Hall Restoration, Diego Stiesel and Jason Crane: Remediation Budget and
Timing - Façade, Roof, Wall Structure
j) 2023-2024 Budget Calendar
• Monday, April 10, 2023, Budget Vote – 6:00PM – Public Hearing and potential
Budget Vote in the Community Center, immediately held afterward will be the
monthly Board Work Session will be held
• In its 22nd Year, Bellport Village has been reinstated as a “Tree City;” we are
celebrating Earth Day and Arbor Day on Saturday, April 22, 2023. In addition,
we are celebrating the commencement of the 1000 Yard Campaign.
17) Resolution # ____ Special Events
a. Bellport Brewing Company, Fundraiser for Retinoblastoma - Joy for Jude,
Sunday May 21st 10:00am – 5:00pm at 14 Station Road
b. Boys and Girls Club request, Donation of a round trip, to Ho Hum Beach,
Thursday August 18th, 10am ferry going over.
c. Drum Recital, at the Bandshell – Jules Radino – April 29, May 6th or 13th, at
11am, 1 hour and a half
