MINUTES: JANUARY 13, 2025 Village of Bellport Special Meeting/Work Session Monday, January 13, 2025 at 7:00PM This meeting will be held in the Community Center AGENDA This meeting is open to the public in the Community Center, located at 4 Bell Street. It is an in-person meeting and will be streamed on Zoom. Pledge of Allegiance & Roll Call Open Special Meeting Opening remarks by Mayor Maureen Veitch Introduction of Jenn Ditta from Cullen & Danowski to present the audit of the Tentative Financial Statements from June 1, 2023 – May 31, 2024 as presented. Resolution: Approve the proposed Tentative Financial Statements from June 1, 2023 – May 31, 2024 as presented by Jenn Ditta. Marina Project discussion by Board. Open to Public Resolution: Approve the proposed Marina Project. Resolution: Approve the setting of a Public Hearing for January 27, 2025 to consider enacting the proposed Introductory Local Law #2 of 2025 overriding the 2% tax cap as established in General Municipal Law § 3-c as it necessary to adopt a budget that requires a tax levy greater than the tax levy limit.
