Special Called City Council Meeting Agenda Monday, September 19, 2016 - 5:30 p.m. Wright Room, Harris Community Center 401 N. Alexander, Belton, Texas Mayor Pro Tem David K. Leigh plans to participate in the meeting remotely from Minneapolis, Minnesota, via videoconference. Pledge of Allegiance. The Pledge of Allegiance to the U.S. Flag will be led by Councilmember Guy O’Banion. Texas Pledge. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Texas Flag will be led by Director of Internal Services/City Engineer Angellia Points. “Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible.” Invocation. Consider an ordinance adopting the 2016 ad valorem tax rate (Fiscal Year 2017). Miscellaneous 7. Consider authorizing the purchase of three (3) marked police vehicles, one (1) unmarked sedan and one Animal Control pickup for the Police Department from Caldwell Country Ford through the BuyBoard purchasing cooperative. WORKSESSION ITEM: 8. Hold a worksession to consider the boundary of Belton’s Water Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN), located along and north of Amity Road, west of IH 35.
