FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 5th, 2025, 7:30 a.m. Members present: Patty Gapen, Chairperson; Tammy Steward, Jamie Biegel Also present: Samantha Daugherty; Kayla Lumaye; Shawn Dillingham Chairperson Patty Gapen called the meeting to order at 7:35am The Committee reviewed all bills, non-lapsing, savings and checking accounts, journal entries, and time sheets. Motion Steward, second Biegel to recommend the Board’s approval of the bills, non-lapsing accounts and journal entries for Wastewater and Water Utility departments and Village. Motion carried. The Committee discussed the Dynamic Roofing incentive payment changes. The committee had some additional questions and concerns regarding the new incentive agreement. More discussion is needed before approving. Chief Dillingham presented a quote from DingesFire Co for $3,365 for new turn out gear that will be paid for using the Turn Out gear line in the budget. Motion Gapen Second Biegel to approve the quote for $3,365. Motion carried. Clerk Daugherty presented two upcoming training courses; Year 2 of Clerk Treasurer Institute that will be held virtually July 14-18th for $499 and Wisconsin Election Commission Clerk Conference that will be held in person at the Central Wisconsin Expo Center on September 30th and October 1st for $95. Motion Gapen Second Biegel to approve the clerk to attend the training if the other office staff are available to cover office hours. Motion carried. Superintendent Lumaye provided the agenda on previously approved training at the Wisconsin Rural Water Association annual technical conference.
