Plan Commission Meeting Minutes November 17th, 2025, 5:30pm 1. Call to Order – Plan Commission meeting called to order by Jon Evenson at 5:33pm. All members of the commission were present along with 2 members of the public. 2. Site Plan Review for Membrane Systems’ addition to their existing building. The commission reviewed the site plans for Membrane System’s addition from Lampert & Lee. Larry Koopman presented the plans his firm had drawn up. The commission also reviewed plans from Dimension Design Group for the addition. There was discussion on changes to the new parking lot area and that some land clearing has begun. Larry presented how the stormwater from the impervious surfaces and roofs will run off into the swales and that the finish of the building and landscaping were not in the plans but would match the existing building. Evenson discussed the need to complete the land transfer agreements and the easement for access to the storm sewer pipe currently installed on that land. Motion Muleski second Schneider to recommend that the board approve the site plan. Motion carried. 3. Discussion on parking area requested in Bridgewater Keith presented plans for a temporary gravel parking area along Waterview Drive. The commission reviewed the village ordinance related to parking lots. Keith stated this is needed for Bridgewater residents to have additional parking area for access to their docks. Keith spoke about this lot possibly being used as a community space or clubhouse in the future. Motion Muleski second Wolter to approve this parking area with the following conditions: no costs are incurred by the Village, the lot remains gravel so it is considered temporary, and signs are installed stating that the lot is for Bridgewater residents only and is therefore private. Motion carried. 4. New Business Samantha discussed an email she received from Arise Nutrition that will be in the Sparhawk owned building along North Biron Drive. There were questions about how many businesses will be in the building and future plans. Kayla stated the water is currently turned off to the building and we will need more information from the owner. Samantha will contact the owners and bring information to next meeting. 5. Set next meeting date and time – Commission discussed setting a day each month for meetings as we will begin our comprehensive plan update. Monthly Plan Commission meetings set for the last Wednesday each month at 6:00pm. Next meeting is January 28th, 2026. 6. Adjourn: Motion Muleski second Schneider to adjourn at 6:30pm. Motion carried.
