WATER UTILITY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
November 6th, 2024 9:00 A.M.
Members Present: Jamie Biegel, Chairperson; Patty Gapen, Committee Member; Mark
Honkomp excused
Others Present: Kayla Lumaye, Water Superintendent; Samantha Daugherty, Clerk; Peggy
Doughty, Utility Clerk; Geroge Brandl, Village of Vesper’s Public Works Director
1. Chairperson Jamie Biegel called the meeting to order at 8:57 A.M.
2. Discussion on removing chemicals from water
The committee discussed removing fluoride in the water. George discussed the
barriers he had when Vesper decided to remove fluoride. George emphasized the
importance of letting the residents be aware of this discussion. Kayla is planning to
test the raw water for both wells to see what level of fluoride we have naturally
occurring. The committee plans on taking a tour of the water plant on Monday
November 11th at 8:00 AM.

There was nothing to report on at this time.
