Minutes Special Meeting of the Town of Vermont Board Wednesday, June 12, 7:00 pm Vermont Town Hall 4017 County Rd JJ, Black Earth WI 53515 In attendance: Karen Carlock, Kirk Lynch, Doug Meier 1. Certification of notice posting Karen called the meeting to order at 7:02. Katie certified that the meeting was noticed according to statute, posted on the door of town hall, the town website, and emailed to subscribers 2. Application by David Dybdal for a short term rental at 4200 Blue Mounds Trail The town is reviewing the application, but has not gone through the CUP process with the planning commission and board. This would be the usual process and the board does not feel it is appropriate to deviate from it. As the Short Term Rental permit is an administrative process the town can go ahead and issue that, but will not formally approve the CUP prior to the planning commission being able to weigh in. Kirk made a motion that we approve the short term rental application and request that the county move forward with the CUP application, contingent on the planning commission approval of the CUP. 3. Doug made a motion to adjourn. Motion carried 3-0. Meeting adjourned at 7:16
