This was a closed meeting pursuant to the provisions of Section 3.01 of the Blaine City Charter and Minnesota Statutes 13D.05, Subd.3 (b). 2 Roll Call Quorum present. ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Clark Arneson; City Attorney Pat Sweeney; Director of Public Works Jon Haukaas, Police Chief/Safety Services Manager Brian Podany; League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust Attorney Elisa Hatlevig; City Clerk Cathy Sorensen (for roll call purposes only). Present: 6 - Councilmember Hovland, Councilmember Clark, Councilmember King, Councilmember Garvais, Councilmember Jeppson, and Mayor Ryan Excused: 1 - Councilmember Swanson 3 New Business 3-1 LITIGATION DISCUSSION The purpose of the closed special meeting was to discuss pending Hastings Street and Lever Street litigation.
