HE advised that additional easement that is needed near the Dairy Queen site. He stated that staff has been working with the owners of Dairy Queen and has negotiated a price of $31,000 for the necessary easement. He noted that the second portion of the Resolution would be the right-of-way for the EDA purchased property, which would leave approximately 2.5 acres to the south. He stated that staff will begin work for platting that property. Commissioner Hovland referenced the existing frontage road near Dairy Queen and questioned what would occur with that. Community Development Director Schafer confirmed that as a part of this plan that frontage road would be removed.
