Main Street on Thursday, May 25, 2017 with the following members, guests and staff in attendance: ATTENDANCE Pam Albarelli Donna Zion Mary Potter Kay Burrus Frances Hose STAFF Matt Wright, Senior Planner Karen Findora, Recording Secretary ABSENT Chris Birkenmaier Ken Billups Jr. Chris Lievsay, District 2, Mayor Pro-Tem CALL TO ORDER Matt Wright, Senior Planner, called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. VOTE FOR CHAIRMAN AND VICE-CHAIRMAN MOTION Commissioner Mary Potter moved to elect Commissioner Frances Hose as CHAIRMAN Chairman of the Historic Preservation Commission. SECOND Seconded by Commissioner Pam Albarelli. SECOND Seconded by Commissioner Mary Potter. VOTE Pam Albarelli – Aye Mary Potter – Aye Donna Zion – Aye Ken Billups Jr. – Absent Chris Birkenmaier – Absent Kay Burrus – Aye Councilman Chris Lievsay (Dist 2) – Absent Vacant Frances Hose, Chairman – Aye (APPROVED 5-Aye, 0-No) CONSENT AGENDA Matt Wright, Senior Planner, requested action on the Consent Agenda with a motion by Commissioner Kay Burrus to approve the minutes for March 30, 2017, a second from Commissioner Donna Zion, and a unanimous vote, the Minutes were approved as submitted. AGENDA ITEM 2A. Matt Wright, Senior Planner, stated before the Historic Preservation HPC-05-17-5827 / 310 SW Commission is a request for review and recommendation of a front porch 19th Terrace / Front porch addition in the Historic District. Applicant is requesting to add a 7x16 foot addition covered porch on the front of the house. New siding and roofing for the porch will match the existing house. MOTION Commissioner Pam Albarelli recommended the approval of HPC-05-17- AGENDA ITEM 2A. 5827 / 310 SW 19th Terrace / Front porch addition with two recommendations HPC-05-17-5827 / 310 SW listed in the Staff Report. 19th Terrace / Front porch addition SECOND Seconded by Commissioner Mary Potter.
