Minutes of the Recreation Sub-Committee Meeting June 7, 2018 A regular meeting of the Recreation Sub-Committee was held on Tuesday, June 7th, 2018 at the Fieldhouse. Staff: Marty Bears Michelle Brown – Present Parks Dept. Staff: Paul Thompson Parks Dept. Staff: Jen Talaski Parks Dept. Staff: James Farris Parks Dept. Staff: Nichole Cogbill Visitors/Correspondence: Introductions of all Parks and Recreation staff and commission members. Approval of Minutes: Minutes from previous Recreation Sub-Committee meeting were not available. Program Standard Reports: Staff reviewed their individual program reports. Richard commended Nichole and Jen for a great job with D.U.O and asked if they reached out to local Blue Springs businesses to get registrations. He added that D.U.O would be a great team building activity for businesses. Richard asked if the same patrons utilize the OATS Transportation daily, or if the group changes. Marty answered that it typically is the same group, but they have been getting more requests for the transportation service. Upcoming Programs: Mary made note of the busy summer and highlighted upcoming programs in the next few weeks. Other Business: None As there was no further business, meeting was adjourned. 1
