(Per Bill # 3232 Ordinance 3334, dated 9/06/2000 ) Mission Statement of BS PAC Task Force To develop a Strategic Plan for the Blue Springs Public Arts Commission which includes elevation of community awareness and support. This strategic plan will enhance the commission’s financial and operating capacity in order to fulfill its original mission into the future. This plan will be completed by March 15,2019. Meeting Objectives: 1. Discuss and adopt definition of our sub-committee as a task force. 2. Determine final version of our mission statement and deliverable strategic plan. 3. Review and update progress to expand our membership. 1 of 2 Meeting Minutes: NOTES Assigned Due Responsi Date bility 1 The meeting was called to order at 1:05 pm 1 With no addendums offered, the last meeting minutes were approved. 2 Determined that our assignment group is better defined as a task force. Motion was made and approved to modify from sub-committee to task force. 3 Perform an exercise that resulted in defining vital content of our mission statement. 4 Composed final draft of our Mission Statement. Motion was made and approved to adopt it. 5. Reviewed and clarified our deliverable strategic plan. Motion was made to adopt it as the final version and it was approved. 6 Reviewed progress and modifications to our effort to expand our task force membership. Each task force member was given further direction regarding procession of this objective. 7 Ramon agreed to provide each member with a one page “consistent message” talking sheet for each member to use in the solicitation of new members and/or discussions with others. 8 It was noted that the first new member/s will join us at the next meeting planned for April 23rd. 9 The meeting was adjourned a 1:58 pm. 2 of 2
