(Per Bill # 3232 Ordinance 3334, dated 9/06/2000 ) Mission Statement of BS PAC Task Force To develop a Strategic Plan for the Blue Springs Public Arts Commission which includes elevation of community awareness and support. This strategic plan will enhance the commission’s financial and operating capacity in order to fulfill its original mission into the future. This plan will be completed by March 15, 2019. Meeting Objective: Primary: Welcome new attending members, updates regarding acquiring new members, identification/review of tasks, request member review and consideration for assignments of tasks at the next meeting. 050818 minutes BS PAC task force Meeting Minutes: NOTES Action & Due Assignmt Date SUMMARY 1 The meeting was called to order at 9:06 am 2 With no addendums offered, the last meeting minutes were approved. 3 No new members were in attendance. 4 Greta, Larry, Ramon and Jeff provided updates regarding each of their efforts to reach “decision makers” at each of their assigned businesses, organizations, and individuals to be on our task force or be in some way a supporter. 5 Ramon provided a handout that listed six major tasks needing to be completed using S.M.A.R.T. goal process to develop timetables for project planning. Members were asked to review the document and report at the next meeting for any missing tasks and consider names to be assigned to each as lead of each task. Larry Randall accepted lead of the Art Maintenance task. 6 A lead was provided regarding historical data that a maintenance fund for art was established many years ago. Ramon agreed to follow-up with our city budget administrator to determine existence and balance if any. 7 Next meeting will be Monday May 21,9 am 8 The meeting was adjourned a 10:03 am.
