CITY OF BLUE SPRINGS, MISSOURI MINUTES OF PUBLIC ART COMMISSION TASK FORCE MEETING (JUNE 18, 2018) A meeting of the Public Art Commission Task Force subcommittee of the City of Blue Springs, Missouri was held on June 18, 2018, 9am in the Conference Room of the Blue Springs Fieldhouse with Committee Chair Ramon Magee presiding. Establishing Quorum: PAC BOARD MEMBERS Ramon Magee Larry Randall- absent Jeff Carpenter Greta Hoener Also present were Staff Liaison Justin Stuart, Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation; Community Volunteer Task Force members- Kyle Caswell, Janice Cunha CALL TO ORDER Committee Chair Ramon Magee called the meeting to order at 9am. Approval of Minutes: APPROVE BOARD Board Member Greta Hoener moved to approve the minutes of the MINUTES June 4, 2018 meeting of the Public Art Commission Task Force meeting. Motion seconded by Member Jeff Carpenter and carried with the following votes: Member Jeff Carpenter – Aye Member Ramon Magee – Aye Member Greta Hoener– Aye Agenda items: COMMITTEE Ramon reviewed the process of developing a document for use by DISCUSSION: task force members to make calls seeking volunteer help, donations, and grants that will assist PAC in fulfilling their mission statement. The committee discussed printing copies once completed that can be handed out and utilized by task force members. Ramon gave update regarding his meeting with Community America Foundation Greta provided an update of the progress regarding the inventory and condition status of all public artworks with exception of those in storage or privately held. Great reported that to date, four artworks have actionable tasks that a volunteer team could address. Ramon presented a rough draft document for review and comment during the meeting that may become the basis for formalizing the volunteer artwork tasks process policy. The committee discussed the document, it will be revised with suggestions and presented at a future task force committee meeting The committee discussed the task of putting together a list of artworks arranged by year and theme, of all actual installations with images to document retained and significant artwork. VISITORS ANNOUCEMENTS ADJOURNMENT At 9:57AM there was no further business to come before the Committee, and the meeting was adjourned.

Meeting space and dates available for Field House 425 NE Mock Ave. Main Floor Conference Room Friday, June 29- available Monday July 9- available Monday July 23- available All lower party rooms are booked through the summer. 11.
