Public Hearing Notice

NOTICE OF CONTINUATION OF HEARING Re: Notice of Continuation of Public Hearing – Industrial Development Project On February 14, 2017, the City of Blue Springs, Missouri (the “City”) mailed notices of a public hearing originally scheduled for March 6, 2017, together with a copy of the proposed Plan for an Industrial Development Project for Kohl’s Distribution Center (the “Plan”), which also contains a Cost Benefit Analysis on the affected taxing jurisdictions. The City has determined that it is necessary to delay consideration of the Plan and continue the public hearing to March 20, 2017. The City anticipates considering an Ordinance to approve the Plan following the conclusion of the public hearing on the Plan at the City Council meeting on March 20, 2017 at 6:00 PM at the Howard L. Brown Public Safety Building, 1100 S.W. Smith, Blue Springs, Missouri. The City invites all affected taxing districts to attend the meeting and to make oral comments on the proposed Plan to the City or to provide written comments to the City on the Plan prior to the meeting. All comments of the taxing districts will be fairly and duly considered by the City.
