Bluffdale City Youth Council Meeting March 15, 2022
The 3rd Tuesday of every month at 5:00 pm is set for our meeting time.
February- Beehive house was fun! We should plan on going back at a time that the residents
will be awake and do a little show for them.
March- Youth Council swearing in was a great experience.
April - April 9th: Easter Egg Hunt- with Lions club.
Picnic in between.
Help with the community garden at Independence. Will have the numbers by April 1st, we could
put the numbers on boxes, or add dirt to boxes, boxes filled with dirt by may 5th. Bring drills,
and knee pads.
April 19th- NO meeting
May- May 17th meeting, plan for june.
May 23rd Love Where You Live at independence park-sidewalk chalk
June- Might not have a meeting.
Movie in the park, set up a concession stand to earn money for fun activities.
July- No youth council enjoy camps and youth conferences.
August- Old West Days, maybe run the chuck wagon for a fundraiser. Run Trading post, float.
September- Youth Council Social? Get more youth involved.
If we do coat drive again, we will start advertising in October.

Month Activities:
February- Beehive house was fun! We should plan on going back again at a time that the residents will
be awake and do a little show for them. I know they enjoyed your cute Valentines decorations.
March-
Youth council swearing in was a great experience.
Proposed upcoming activities:
March/April-
Teddy Bear donation to law enforcement. Need to get more information on how to facilitate this. Get
the contact information from Bluffdale City police department/Fire department. Do we still want to do
this?
April-
Easter Egg Hunt- with Lions club
Help with community garden at Independence. Emily will attend our March meeting to discuss.
May-
-Park Clean up- Get with Parks to get this scheduled. What do you guys want to do? Clean up, plant,
pull weeds?
June- Youth council social
July- no youth council enjoy camps and youth conferences
August- Old west days do we want to be in the parade?
