NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Bluffdale City Council on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at the Bluffdale City Hall, 2222 West 14400 South, Bluffdale, Utah, for the purpose of receiving comment on the following: The Bluffdale City Council has adopted a resolution indicating its intent to adjust a boundary that the City of Bluffdale has in common with Riverton City. The area proposed to be adjusted is the northern boundary of the City of Bluffdale and the southern boundary of Riverton City between 3600 West and Redwood Road. The adjustment would set the boundary between the two cities as the center line of Bangerter Highway. A boundary adjustment plat is available for review at the Bluffdale City office located at 2222 West 14400 South, Bluffdale, Utah. The Bluffdale City Council will adjust the boundaries unless, at or before the public hearing, written protests to the adjustment are filed by the owners of private real property that meet the following conditions: (1) Property is located within the area proposed for adjustment (2) Property covers at least 25% of the total private land area within the area proposed for adjustment, and (3) Property is equal in value to at least 15% of the value of all private property within the area proposed for adjustment. The area that is the subject of the boundary adjustment will, because of the boundary adjustment, be automatically annexed to a local district providing emergency services. The area proposed to be in the City of Bluffdale will be automatically withdrawn from a local district providing emergency services. The hearing is scheduled in connection with a regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council, which will begin at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible.
