PROCEEDINGS OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE COURT OF BOSSIER CITY
STATE OF LOUISIANA TAKEN AT A REGULAR MEETING
JUNE 14, 2022
The Administrative Court of the City of Bossier City, State of Louisiana, met June 14, 2022, at
3:00 PM.
Invocation was given by Council Member Jeffery Darby
Pledge of Allegiance led by Council Member Chris Smith
Roll Call as follows:
Present: Honorable, Chairman Don Williams, Honorable Councilors Jeffery Darby, and Chris
Smith
Also Present: City Attorney, Charles Jacobs and City Clerk, Phyllis McGraw

Motion to approve minutes of the May 10, 2022, Administrative Court proceedings.

Agenda Item called – Hearing to review the recommendation of removal of a dilapidated
structure located at 1312 Barksdale Blvd, Bossier City, LA
Property Standards Supervisor, Roger Voet spoke on the issues with the case. City appointed
attorney, Gahagan Pugh reported that he was able to notify the owners daughter. Owners
daughter, Marcy Hohmenmann spoke on issue requesting more time.

Motion to continue case until the August 9, 2022 meeting.

Agenda Item called – Blight Hearing for - 1601 Patricia Drive, Bossier City, LA
Property Standards Officer, Steve Glass spoke on case. Second time there has been blight
hearing on case.

Agenda Item called – Blight Hearing for - 2680 Tulip St., Bossier City, LA
Property Standards Officer, Steve Glass spoke on case. Property owner Cynthia Gonzales spoke
on needing more time.

Motion to clean up as soon as possible but to suspend the sentence for 30 days to give
property owner just a little more time.
