PROCEEDINGS OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE COURT OF BOSSIER CITY
STATE OF LOUISIANA TAKEN AT A REGULAR MEETING
DECEMBER 13, 2022
The Administrative Court of the City of Bossier City, State of Louisiana, met
December 13, 2022, at 3:00 PM.
Invocation was given by Council Member Jeffery Darby
Pledge of Allegiance led by Council Member Brian Hammons
Roll Call as follows:
Present: Honorable, Chairman Jeffery Darby, Honorable Councilors Brian Hammons and Vince
Maggio
Also Present: City Attorney, Charles Jacobs and City Clerk, Phyllis McGraw

Motion to approve minutes of the September 13, 2022, Administrative Court
proceedings.

Agenda Item called – Hearing to review the recommendation of removal of a dilapidated
structure located at 1534 James Street, Bossier City, LA
Justin Robertson, Property Standards, reported on issue. Gahagan Pugh, City appointed attorney,
updated Board on his contact and communications with owner. Property is being purchased and
new owner wishes for time to take care of issue.

Motion to continue this case for 30 days.

Agenda Item called – Blight hearing for 6007 Rosemead Circle, Bossier City, LA
Steve Glass, Property Standards, reported on case. Owner, Mr. Buford, asked for more time to
finish clean up job.

Motion to declare all items on property as junk and for City to remove but sentence
suspended for 30 days

Roger Voet, Property Standards Director, reported on case. Owner is working on cleanup and is
present to request more time.
