Municipal Order No. 2019 – 47 Municipal Order approving the promotions of Justin Brooks to the position of Assistant Chief of Suppression, Alan Dezern to the position of Company Commander and Drew Cassady to the position of Fire Apparatus Operator in the Fire Department (Filed 04/08/2019, 2:00 p.m.) 2. Municipal Order No. 2019 – 48 Municipal Order approving the probationary appointments of Cortney Paris to the position of Office Associate – Records Division and Cate Kilgore to the position of Office Associate – Criminal Investigations Division in the Police Department (Filed 04/08/2019, 11:40 a.m.) (Agenda-April 16, 2019) 3. Ordinance No. BG2019 – 12 ORDINANCE AMENDING CODE OF ORDINANCES (First Reading) Ordinance amending Chapters 2 (Administration), 14 (Housing) and 17 (Personnel Policies) of the City of Bowling Green Code of Ordinances to add language prohibiting discrimination in housing accommodations and employment on the bases of sexual orientation or gender identity, prohibiting discrimination in public accommodations on the basis of disability, race, religion, national origin, sex, color, sexual orientation and gender identity, and providing for certain exceptions and exclusions to such prohibitions, including an exception for burdening freedom of religion (Filed 04/11/2019, 7:30 a.m.) 4. Ordinance No. BG2019 – 6 ORDINANCE CREATING FRANCHISE RELATING TO (Second Reading) TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM An Ordinance creating and establishing for bid a non-exclusive telecommunications (or related non-cable) franchise for the placement of facilities for the generation, transmission, distribution and sale of telecommunications or related non- cable services within the public rights-of-way of City of Bowling Green for a ten (10) year duration; and providing for compliance with other relevant laws, regulations, standards, and ordinances; definitions; work, materials and construction standards; wire moving and tree trimming; indemnification; insurance; access to property and inspections; notice of filings with the public service commission; no vested rights; limited assignment; notice of foreclosure and bankruptcy; cancellation or termination; violations and penalties; permitting and inspection fees; additional permitting and other requirements for substantial new construction, and bid requirements, all effective on date of passage 5. Ordinance No. BG2019 – 7 ORDINANCE REZONING REAL ESTATE (Second Reading) Ordinance rezoning a tract of land containing 0.7002 acre from HB (Highway Business) to RM-4 (Multi-Family Residential) located at 3885 Old Nashville Road Loop #1, presently owned by Elijah Properties, LLC 6. Ordinance No. BG2019 – 8 ORDINANCE REZONING REAL ESTATE (Second Reading) Ordinance rezoning a tract of land containing 6.5 acres from GB (General Business) to PUD (Planned Unit Development) located at 618 Lovers Lane, presently owned by Propero II Bowling Green, LLC 2 (Agenda-April 16, 2019) 7. Municipal Order No. 2019 – 50 Municipal Order approving purchases for golf course improvements at RiverView Golf Course from Parlayne Outdoor Solutions of Alvaton, Kentucky, Jackson Sand of Jackson, Tennessee, and Champion Turf Farms of Bay City, Texas in the total amount of $175,750 (Filed 04/09/2019, 11:15 a.m.) 12.
