MINUTES GENERAL COMMITTEE MEETING MARCH 3, 2025 A General Committee Meeting was held on Monday, March 23, 2025. Chairman Kim Luebrecht called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. In attendance were, Alderman Mark Bair, Alderman Terry Burris, Alderman McCoy Thompson, Alderman Myron Arttus, and Alderman Kirkpatric. Also in attendance were City Attorney Malaine Hagemeier, and City Administrator/Clerk Linda Luebrecht. A quorum was present and due notice posted. Reports Alliance Water Resources/LaDon Atkinson-Written report submitted. Building Inspector/Code Enforcement/Tony Windmiller-Written report submitted. Chief Tylor Bounds-Written report submitted (no report submitted) Fire Chief Adam Mitalovich-Written report submitted (Tony reported) Park Board-written report – Linda Luebrecht (no report given) City Clerk/Administrator Linda Luebrecht-Written report submitted. Old Business None New Business 1. Sherita Morrison – Guest 2. Discussion on suggested changes on Section 210.040 – Animal Control Officer ordinance. Alderman Thompson made a motion to have City Attorney revise Section 210.040 as presented by Code Enforcement Officer Tony Windmiller. Second by Alderman Burris. Motion carried by unanimous vote. 3. Mayor Arico – Wanted to discuss potential business location for grocery store. Miscellaneous and Visitors City Clerk informed Aldermen and Mayor that Relay for Life will be taking place at the city park on October 4 from 4-9 pm. Organizer asked permission to use UTVs/side-by-sides on walking trail to help those in need to get from booth to booth. Adjourn Alderman Bair made a motion to adjourn meeting. Second by Alderman Arttus. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
