MINUTES PARK BOARD ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING March 19, 2025 5:30 p.m. A Park Board Advisory Committee meeting was held at City Hall, 16 West Church St., Bowling Green, Missouri on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. at 5:30 p.m. Committee members present were President Christy Dempsey, Elizabeth O’Farrell, Heidi McCollum and Natalie Griggsby. Kayli Houseworth was absent. Others present were Mayor Jim Arico, and City Clerk/Administrator Linda Luebrecht. Approve Previous Meeting Minutes Liz made a motion to approve minutes from the previous meeting. Second by Natalie. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Coordinator Update Jennifer updated Park Board with everything that she has been doing Old Business 1. Discussion on Calendar of Events for 2025. April 19 – Easter Egg Hunt May – possible move in the park June 7 – Town wide yard sale July – Mayor wants to host a kick ball tournament August – mayor wants to host a soccer tournament Possible puzzle/pizza/beer September – possible kids carnival/music New Business 1. Discussion on ballpark sign price. Heidi made a motion to offer ballpark advertising signs for $600 for 4 years. Second by Liz. Motion carried by unanimous vote. 2. Discussion on Easter Egg Hunt. Date is set for April 19, 10 a.m. Park board members will be there at 9:15am. Miscellaneous and Visitor Adjourn Liz made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Natalie.
