Such requests will be automatically respected. A. Approve the January 10, 2023 regular meeting minutes as presented. B. Parks and Recreation Member Appointments Approve the Parks and Recreation Commission recommendations to reappoint Peter Friedrich and Diane Sterling with terms expiring 12/31/2026, to appoint Lei Diesenroth and Drake Wiseman with terms expiring 12/31/2025, and to reappoint Michael Sheean with a term expiring 12/31/2024 on the Parks and Recreation Commission. C. Boyne City Main Street/Downtown Development Authority Board – Mayoral Appointments Approve the Boyne City Main Street/Downtown Development Authority Board recommendations to appoint Patti Gabos and Jessica White with terms expiring January 2027, and to appoint Deanna Engelhart with a term expiring January 2024. D. 2023 Police Vehicle Outfitting Approve the Boyne City Police Department use Craig Remsberg for the outfitting of the new patrol SUV and pay him a straight wage of $3,000. 4. Senior and Transit Services Report created by citizen Chet Falkowski 6. CITY MANAGER’S REPORT 7. REPORTS OF OFFICERS, BOARDS AND STANDING COMMITTEES A. November 2022 Financial Statements B. December 2022 Financial Statements 8. OLD BUSINESS A. Marina Placeholder for follow up on Friday, January 20, 2023 work session items, if needed. B. Social District Consider the recommendation from Assistant Planner Bonnie Shunatona to review the application and provide recommendations as appropriate to Main Street Board regarding any desired changes. 9. NEW BUSINESS A. PRE Poverty Exemptions Consider the recommendation from City Clerk/Treasurer Jessica Puroll to approve the Poverty Tax Guidelines for 2023 in compliance with MCL 211.7u as presented. B. Michigan Drinking Water Asset Management (DWAM) Grant Implementation Consider the recommendation from City Manager Michael Cain to approve the proposal with the City’s consulting engineers, C2AE, for Drinking Water Asset Management Grant Implementation Services in an amount not to exceed $180,700 and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement. C. EMS Full Term Personnel Consider the recommendation from EMS Director Brenda Willson to authorize the EMS department to hire four full time paramedics as outlined above. D. Emergency Services Fee Schedule Change Consider the recommendation from EMS Director Brenda Willson to amend the fee schedule to change our current service fees to the rates recommended from MHR billing. E. Michigan Association of Mayors – 2023 Community Exchange Review the consideration of Boyne City’s participation in Michigan Association of Mayors 2023 Community Exchange Day program. F. Closed Session Request Consider the request of the City Manager to go into closed session for a periodic personnel evaluation of a public officer as provided in MCL 15.268 (a) of the Michigan Open Meetings Act (PA 267 of 1976). 10.
