Such requests will be automatically respected. A. Approve the May 23, 2023 regular meeting minutes as presented B. Approve the resolution as presented for the Boyne City Eagles (Fraternal Order of Eagles 1583 Inc.) to participate in the Boyne City Main Street Social District for this 2023 season and authorize the City Clerk/Treasurer to complete and return the appropriate resolution. 4. OLD BUSINESS A. 2023 MDOT Category B Funding Application Review the roads and ‘preservation’ estimates prepared for possible MDOT Category B grant funding and authorize C2AE and City staff to prepare and submit the necessary grant documents to apply for the selected projects. B. Tree Advisory Board Consider the recommendations of the Park and Recreation Commission and the Main Street Board to approve the proposed Tree Advisory Board ordinance, as amended, have the first reading and schedule a second reading at the City Commission’s July 25, 2023 meeting. C. Skate Park SPARK Grant Consider the recommendation from the Parks and Recreation Commission to approve the request of the Park and Recreation Commission and Skate Park 501c3 Board to authorize staff to work with them in submitting a round 2 SPARK grant in the amount not to exceed $360,000 on behalf of the City for the purpose of building the proposed Rotary Park Skate Park. 9. NEW BUSINESS A. Pearl Street Historic District Study Committee Appointments Consider the recommendation from Planning Director Scot McPherson to appoint Jo Bowman, Jane McKenzie, Gow Litzenburger, Zachary Sompels and Scott McPherson to the Pearl Street Historic District Study Committee. B. Pavilion Audio Project Consider the recommendation from Planning Director Scott McPherson to approve the purchase of audio equipment with installation in the pavilion from Total Audio Engineering Inc. for an amount not to exceed $7,690.00. C. Closed Session Request Consider the request from City Manager Michael Cain to go into closed session for a periodic personnel evaluation of a public officer as provided in MCL 15.268 (a) of the Michigan Open Meetings Act (PA 267 of 1976), which is exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act (MCL 15.243(1)(g)), (PA 442 of 1976). 10.
