Such requests will be automatically respected. A. Approve the September 10, 2024 regular meeting minutes as presented B. Approve the Parks and Recreation Commissions recommendation to place a commemorative plaque in the Veteran’s Park Pavilion in honor of Rebecca Harris. C. Approve Traffic Control Order 141 4. REPORTS OF OFFICERS, BOARDS AND STANDING COMMITTEES A. August 2024 Financial Statements An Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer Hometown Feel, Small Town Appeal 8. OLD BUSINESS A. Marina Recommendations Consider the following recommendations from City Manager Michael Cain 1) That the City Commission approve the proposed resolution accepting the terms of the Agreement Addendum inserting the local match sum of $965,528.28 in item 1. Of the Addendum and authorize the city Manager and City Clerk/Treasurer to sign the necessary documents. 2) That the City Commission approve, at a minimum, Option B. the Value Engineered Project scope contract with Molon Excavating in the amount of $663,015.57 and authorize the City Manager and City Clerk/Treasurer to execute the necessary documents. 3) That the City Commission approve the proposed easement with Consumers Energy for the installation and maintenance of underground electric line and supporting equipment in Veteran’s Park and authorize the City Manager and City Clerk/Treasurer to sign the necessary documents. B. Housing Discussion 1. Second Reading - Housing Commission Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) Ordinance Amendment Consider the recommendation from City Manager Michael Cain to approve the second reading and adoption of the proposed amendment of Chapter 62 – TAXATION, Article II-Service Charges In Lieu of Taxes, Section 62.19 City senior housing development as proposed. 2. North Boyne Draft Request for Proposal – Commissions Review and Discussion 9. NEW BUSINESS A. Women’s Resource Center – Domestic Abuse Awareness Month Letter and Proclamation Outreach and Advocacy Program Director, Susann Barger B. Report of Attendees to Michigan Municipal League 125th Annual Convention held on Mackinaw Island September 11th – 13th 10. GOOD OF THE ORDER 11.
