CALL TO ORDER AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 2. ROLL CALL 3. CONSENT AGENDA The purpose of the consent agenda is to expedite business by grouping non-controversial items together to be dealt with by one Commission motion without discussion. Any member of the Commission, staff, or the public may ask that any item(s) on the consent agenda be removed and placed as the last item under new business to receive full discussion. Such requests will be automatically respected. A. Approve the February 5, 2025 Joint Board and Commission meeting minutes as presented B. Approve the February 6, 2025 work session meeting minutes as presented C. Approve the February 11, 2025 regular meeting minutes as presented D. Approve the Right to Approve Master Plan Resolution as presented E. Approve the resignation of Adam Graef and fill the remainder of this term with the appointment of Brennen Wright to the Main Street Board with a term expiration of January 31, 2026. 4. Housing Priorities 1) Local Brownfield Redevelopment Authority Consider the recommendation from City Clerk Treasurer Jessica Puroll to review, discuss, and provide staff with direction on how to proceed with the creation of a local Brownfield Redevelopment Authority. 9. NEW BUSINESS A. 2024 Streets Project Consider the recommendation from Director of Public Works and Utilities Doug Varney to authorize the City Manager to award the contract as outlined by C2AE with a change order to potentially reduce the cost for the project titled ‘2024 Streets’ to Reith Riley in the amount of $709,245 and authorize the City Manager or City Clerk/Treasurer to sign the resolution to present to MDOT to secure the funding for the 2024 Streets Projects that was applied for in January 2024. B. Purchase of Replacement Raw Sampler Model 5800 by ISCO for WWTP Entrance Consider the recommendation from Director of Public Works and Utilities Doug Varney to award a purchase order contact to Teledyne ISCO for the purchase of a new replacement raw sampler (MODEL 5800) for $9,621 plus shipping ($721) per the attached quote, and to authorize the City Manager to execute the necessary documents. C. River Mouth Fish Hanging Signs Consider the recommendation from Deputy City Clerk Becky Pennington and Director of Public Works and Utilities Doug Varney to approve the purchase of two double-sided fish hanging signs from the Wood Shop for an amount not-to-exceed $4,250 with funds from Parks and Recreation GL 101-751- 755, and to approve the installation of these signs to be parallel with the river, one on the Sunset Park side and the other on the Veteran’s Park side. 10. ANNOUNCEMENTS • The next regular City Commission meeting is scheduled for March 11, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. • The first City Commission budget work session is scheduled for Thursday, March 13th at 8:00 a.m. • The second City Commission budget work session is scheduled for Monday, March 17th at 8:00 a.m. • The third City Commission budge work session is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19th at 8:00 a.m. 12.
