Continued Housing Discussion 1) MOXIE Update An Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer Hometown Feel, Small Town Appeal B. Earl St Field Order #2: Changes to Street Design Consider the recommendation from Director of Public Works and Utilities Doug Varney to approve Field Order #2 to change Earl Street to accommodate the existing conditions and locations of driveways prior to construction and authorize the City Manager or City Clerk Treasurer to approve the Field Order#2 increasing the contract by $9,439.58. C. Contract Modification for the 2024 Streets Project Consider the recommendation from Director of Public Works and Utilities Doug Varney to authorize the City Manager to award the contract change as outlined above with a change order to increase the cost for the project titled ‘2024 Streets’ to Reith Riley in the amount not to exceed $20,270.42 to utilize Ultra-Thin HMA in lieu of Chip & Fog Seal on Front St. between Water and Main streets. 9. NEW BUSINESS A. PFAS Litigation Settlement for Public Water Systems Consider the recommendation City Clerk/Treasurer to approve the contract as presented for legal services related to the AFFF PFAS Litigation with Stag Liuzza, L.L.C. and Cummings, McClorey, Davis, and Acho, PLC. for the purpose of providing legal representation in the filing of a civil action and/or submitting claims in the pending PFAS settlements, seeking recovery of costs associated with damages to the City’s public drinking water and/or wastewater systems, and authorize the City Manager or City/Clerk Treasurer to execute the necessary documents. B. Trailer Parking – Boyne City Airport Consider the recommendation from the Airport Advisory Board to designate the area behind the 1910 building as an alternate parking area for trailers, if and when needed. C. CWSRF Contract 2 Change Order for Filter Media Consider the recommendation from Director of Public Works and Utilities Doug Varney to approve the above change order contract to Grand Traverse Construction for $16,802.20 per the supporting documentation provided by C2AE dated 9/4/2025. Further, I would recommend the City Manager execute the documents. 10. GOOD OF THE ORDER 11. ANNOUNCEMENTS • The next regular City Commission meeting is scheduled for September 23, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. 12.
