1. CALL TO ORDER AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

3. CONSENT AGENDA
The purpose of the consent agenda is to expedite business by grouping non-controversial items together to
be dealt with by one Commission motion without discussion. Any member of the Commission, staff, or the
public may ask that any item(s) on the consent agenda be removed and placed as the last item under new
business to receive full discussion. Such requests will be automatically respected.
A. Approve the September 22, 2025 special meeting minutes as presented
B. Approve the September 23, 2025 regular meeting minutes as presented
C. Approve to declare a vacancy on the Airport Advisory Board due to the resignation of Richard Wright
D. Appoint Al Aown, and Josh Aown to the Airport Advisory Board with terms ending December 24,2028,
and appoint Aaron Place to the Airport Advisory Board to fill the most recent vacancy with a term
ending December 24, 2026
E. Proclaim the month of October 2025 as “Breast Cancer Awareness Month” in the City of Boyne City
F. Proclaim October 5th – 11th , 2025 as “Fire Prevention Week” in the City of Boyne City
G. Approve the quote from Northwest Garage Door, in an amount not-to-exceed $6,546.82, for the repairs
of the EMS garage door
H. Approve to declare a vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Commission resulting from the resignation
of Leia Diesenroth

9. NEW BUSINESS
A. Change Order 3
Consider the recommendation from Director of Public Works and Utilities, Doug Varney to approve
Change Order 3 to Contract 1 of the CWSRF project to allow the contractor to install sod and soil over
the infiltration ditches as outlined.
B. Liquor License Recommendation
Consider the recommendation from City Clerk/Treasurer, Jessica Puroll to approve authorizing the City
Clerk/Treasurer or Deputy City Clerk to execute the Local Governmental Approve Form LCC-106,
further authorizing the City Clerk/Treasurer or Deputy City Clerk and City Assessor to sign the
associated affidavits as presented, thereby recommending approval of the liquor license application for
Casa Tequila Mexican Bar & Grill, LLC located at 5 W. Main Street, Suite 1, Boyne City.

11. ANNOUNCEMENTS
• The Boyne City F. Grant Moore Municipal Marina will be closing for the season on Wednesday,
October 15, 2025
• The next regular City Commission meeting is scheduled for October 28, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.
• The Fish Cleaning Station will be closing for the season on Friday, October 31, 2025
• Boyne City Trick or Treat hours are from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 31, 2025
• The City-Wide General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Polls are open from 7:00
a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
