A. Approve the June 9, 2026 regular City Commission agenda
4. CONSENT AGENDA
The purpose of the consent agenda is to expedite business by grouping non-controversial items together to
be dealt with by one Commission motion without discussion. Any member of the Commission, staff, or the
public may ask that any item(s) on the consent agenda be removed and placed as the last item under new
business to receive full discussion. Such requests will be automatically respected.

A. 2026 Gravel Road Dust Control Contract Award Recommendation
Consider the recommendation from Director of Public Works and Utilities, Doug Varney to award a
purchase order contract for the 2026 Gravel Road Dust Control contract to D&J Bowen Dust Control for
the unit price of 0.34 / gallon with in an amount not to exceed $13,056 (If 3 applications were merited
and required), and authorize the City Manager and or City Clerk/Treasurer to execute the necessary
documents.
B. North Launch Boat Ramp Replacement
Consider the recommendation from Director of Public Works and Utilities, Doug Varney to award a
contract to Manthei Construction LLC for the 2026 North Launch Boat Ramp improvement contingent
on approvals from EGLE in an amount not-to-exceed $55,115, and authorize the City Manager and/or
City Clerk/Treasurer to execute the necessary documents.
C. Fire Department Equipment Purchase
Consider the recommendation from Fire Chief, Dennis Amesbury to approve the purchase of one R320
E3 Connect Ram for $11,500 and one SC 358 E3 Connect Combi for $16,500, for a total amount of
$28,000, from Macqueen, further authorize the City Manager or City Clerk/Treasurer to execute any
necessary documentation.
