June 24, 2025 RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Bradford, that the proper officers hereby approve payment in the amount of $2,283.35 to Bradford Chrysler Dodge Jeep for inspection and repair to the DPMI Jeep. CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS TO BRIGHT ALTERNATIVES, INC., THE CENTER FOR NEW HOPE LOCATED AT 3 MECHANIC STREET: A/F By____________________________ CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS No. 38011 Bradford, Pa. June 24, 2025 RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Bradford, that a Certificate of Appropriateness is hereby issued to Bright Alternatives, Inc. The Center for New Hope BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, Bright Alternatives, Inc. The Center for New Hope, located at 3 Mechanic Street, is approved to paint a mural on the right side of the building as a part of the Bright Alternatives initiative program. The mural will be 48’ long x 16’ high. The paint colors will be as follows: The Sun and rays in yellow, flowers will be purple, green, etc., and accented with blue butterflies. Renovation of the parking lot to resurface and replace it with asphalt. HARB is approved with the stipulation that any future addition (butterflies, flowers, etc.) must submit a new HARB application and go before the Board for approval. NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the issuance of this has been recommended by the Historical Architectural Board of Review meeting held on June 16, 2025. APPROVE PAYMENT OF A T-MOBILE HOMETOWN GRANT PROGRAM FOR HISTORIC DOWNTOWN IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000.00 FROM THE OECD’S T-MOBILE MICROGRANT PROGRAM TO TODD HENNARD: OECD By____________________________ CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS No. 38012 Bradford, Pa. June 24, 2025 RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Bradford, that WHEREAS, in March of 2025, the City of Bradford adopted guidelines for the T-Mobile Historic Downtown Bradford Improvement Program and is providing funding from the T-Mobile Microgrant Program to assist businesses in the Historic Downton Bradford property owners with improving the inside of their property; and, WHEREAS, Todd Hennard, owner of 17 Congress Street, has applied for a Microgrant Improvement Grant in the amount of $5,000.00 which represents 50% or less of the total cost ($10,404.99) for the purchase of two new arcade games and for repairs to existing arcade games at Slice of the 80’s; and WHEREAS, the OECD’s rehabilitation staff will inspect the work and approve payment to Todd Hennard for the microgrant improvement work. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the City of Bradford hereby approve payment of $5,000.00 from the OECD’s Main Street Manager Account to Todd Hennard for the purchase of two new arcade games located at 17 Congress Street, Bradford, PA 16701. APPROVE PAYMENT TO WITMER PUBLIC SAFETY GROUP, INC.: FIRE By____________________________ CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS No. 38013 Bradford, Pa. June 24, 2025 RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Bradford, that the proper officers approve a payment in the amount of $27,465.00 from the General Fund (01) account to purchase fire hose ($21,420.00) and NFPA flow test kits ($6,045.00). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED this purchase will be funded by DCED grant monies. APPROVE PAYMENT OF A T-MOBILE HOMETOWN GRANT PROGRAM FOR HISTORIC DOWNTOWN IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000.00 FROM THE OECD’S T-MOBILE MICROGRANT PROGRAM TO TODD HENNARD: OECD By____________________________ CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS No. 38014 Bradford, Pa.
