Page 12 of 14  Village of Breedsville 82 E Main St. PO Box 152 Breedsville, MI 49027 (269) 427-9029 ORDINANCE 2023-09 ORDINANCE PROHIBITING HUNTING WITHIN THE VILLAGE An ordinance to secure the public health, safety, and welfare of the residents and property owners of the Village of Breedsville, Michigan, through the prohibition of hunting within the Village; to provide penalties for the violation thereof and to repeal all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict therewith. THE VILLAGE OF BREEDSVILLE, VAN BUREN COUNTY, MICHIGAN ORDAINS: SECTION 1. TITLE AND DESIGNEE This ordinance shall be known and cited as the Village of Breedsville Hunting Ordinance. SECTION 2. HUNTING PROHIBITED It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to hunt with firearms, bow and arrow, crossbow, or any other weapon in or upon the lands of the Village. SECTION 3. PENALTIES A violation of this Ordinance shall be punishable by a fine of $500 and/or a jail term of up to 93 days.
