1. Approval of Minutes
a. Motion to approve Work Session–Wednesday, August 11, 2021 made by
CM Monroe. CM Monroe, CM Taylor, CM Vechery-Goff, VM Leggin voted
yes.
2. Reports
a. Police Chief’s Report
- Stats for June/July
b. Treasurer Report
- Deposit and Activity Report
- Resolution 2021-14 to add ARP funds to a separate bank account to
keep separate from general funds.

- Code Enforcement Report
3. Mayor and Council Reports
Cable TV Authority Council Member Monroe, researching ideas for
hybrid meetings. Encourage residents to reach out with comments or
questions
Public Works Vice Mayor Leggin -First meeting held last week.
Currently have 4 members and still need one more. Members will survey
town to discuss at next meeting their goals. Meetings will be held the last
Tuesday of every month. Team up to Green will hold a clean-up event

Sept. 4, 2021, to clean up paper alley on 40th place. Rental assistance
workshop will be held on Sept. 3, 2021.
Green Team Tree Council Member Vechery-Goff – Flower Garden was
built behind town hall by the Green team. Will create a resolution to
dedicate the garden. Resolution 2021-13 Community Garden Honoring
Chief Althoff read by TA Gaston.
Special Events Council Member Taylor – Upcoming events
announced. Events are subject to change due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Anyone interested in joining the committee please contact CM Taylor.
Notice of death for Mayor of Forest Heights.
2) Consent Agenda
Motion to approve consent items listed below made by CM Monroe. All in
favor.
Approve of RFP for Sidewalks repairs
Motion to approve the tree Removal & Trimming in Bartlett Park in the
amount not to exceed $2,300 from line item 5-7085 made by VM Leggin.
All in favor.
Motion to approve partnership with North Brentwood for installation of a
gate for a paper ally (Parallel to Volta Ave from Route 1 to 40th Place)
made by VM Leggin. All in favor.
4. Old Business
Review of Bates Contract. Approval of contract tabled until more details
are reviewed.
Resolution 2021-13-Town Hall Community Garden Dedication
Motion to approve Resolution 2021-13 made by VM Leggin. CM Taylor,
CM Monroe, CM Vechery-Goff, VM Leggin, Mayor Treminio-Lopez voted
yes. Chief Althoff is honored and grateful for the dedication.
Resolution 2021-14-Additional Bank Account for American Rescue Plan
Funding -Motion to approve Resolution 2021-14 Establishing a new bank
account to hold ARPA funds made by CM Taylor. CM Monroe, CM
Vechery-Goff, CM Taylor, VM Leggin, Mayor Treminio-Lopez voted yes.
