TOWN OF BRISTOL REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MEETING Thursday, June 06, 2024 at 6:30 PM Bristol Town Hall Council Chamber MINUTES CALL MEETING TO ORDER Thursday, June 6, 2024, Redevelopment Commission President Gregg Tuholski called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. ROLL CALL Members present: Doug DeSmith, Dean Rentfrow, Jeff Beachy, Cathy Burke, Gregg Tuholski Others in attendance: Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Jill Swartz, Town Manager Mike Yoder APPROVAL OF AGENDA Note of change to the agenda, item #4 should read Approval of the Minutes, instead of Approval of Agenda. The agenda stands as amended. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion to approve the May 21, 2024 RDC meeting minutes made by Cathy Burke, Seconded by Jeff Beachy. Voting Yea: Cathy Burke, Doug DeSmith, Greg Tuholski, Jeff Beachy, Dean Rentfrow. REPORTS TIF Annual meeting. Kyle Carson, Baker Tilly, presenting via zoom. All taxing units were notified of tonight's meeting. Kyle introduced Scott Finley from Baker Tilly. Scott also worked on the presentation. Kyle reviewed the presentation packet with the RDC committee. RDC member Jeff Beachy made note that if we did not have TIF funds, we would not be able to fund our fire protection services agreement. TIF (Tax Increment Financing) money is not generally used to pay for fire protection. It is generally used to fund economic development and investment in infrastructure.
