Minutes of the Bristol Tennessee City Council Work Session June 17,2014 The Bristol Tennessee City Council work session was called to order by Mayor Dolan on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at7:00 p.m. in the conference room of the Easley Annex Building. Members of City Council present included Mayor Michelle Dolan, Vice Mayor Lea Powets, Councilwoman Margaret Feierabend, Councilman Chad Keen, and Councilman Jack Young. In addition, members of the Bristol Tennessee Board of Education in attendance included Vice Chair Mary Brown, Jill Hanison, Jim Butcher, and Nelson Pyle. City staff members in attendance included City Manager Bill Sorah, City Attorney Jack Hyder, Finance Director Tara Musick, Community Relations Director Tenie Talbert, and Information Technology staff Jared Peters. BTCS staff present included Director of Schools Dr. Gary Lilly, Vance Middle School Principle Dr. Amy Scott, Supervisor of Facilities and Maintenance Ed Depew, Supervisor of Business and Finance Becky Adams. Mr. Scott Gibson, of Cumberland Securities, was also present as the City's Financial Advisor. The agenda for the joint work session of City Council and Board of Education included the following item of discussion, with no formal action being taken. 1.
