Minutes of the Bristol Tennessee City Council \ilork Session March 28r 2017 The Bristol Tennessee City Council work session was called to order by Mayor Chad Keen on Tuesday, March 28,2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room of the Easley Annex Building. Members of City Council present included Mayor Chad Keen, Vice Mayor Jack Young, Councilwoman Margaret Feierabend, Councilwoman Lea Powers, and Councilwoman Michelle Reuning. City staff members present included City Manager Bill Sorah, City Attorney Danielle Kiser, Director of Public 'Works Tim Beavers, Director of Finance Tara Musick, Director of Administration Mary Lee Williams, Parks and Recreation Director Terry Napier, Director of Community Relations Terrie Talbert, Director of Planning and Community Development Brian Rose, Fire Chief Bob Barnes, Police Major Tim Eads, and IT Manager Shane Varney. In addition, Joe Rice of CBIZ Compensation Consulting, Jake Greer and Jim Ford of McGill Associates, and Dr. Mike Browder and others from the BTES staff were in attendance. The agenda for the meeting included the following items for discussion, with no formal action being taken. 1. Presentation of Classification and Compensation Study 2. Presentation of Comprehensive Trails and Greenways Master Plan 3. Discussion of Funding Agreement for Site Preparation V/ork at Bristol Business Park 4. Fiscal20l8 Goals and Objectives Program At the conclusion of discussion of the funding agreement for site preparation work at Bristol Business Park, City Council decided to defer discussion of the Fiscal 2018 Goals and Objectives Program until Noon on Thursday, April 6th.
