Minutes of the Bristol Tennessee Called City Council Work Session July 29,2019 The called work session of the Bristol Tennessee City Council was called to order by Mayor Margaret Feierabend on Monday, July 29,2019 aL 12:10 p.m. in the Nature Center at Steele Creek Park. Members of City Council present included Mayor Margaret Feierabend, Vice Mayor Mahlon Luttrell, Councilman Chad Keen, Councilwoman Lea Powers, and Councilman Vince Turner. In addition, Bristol Tennessee Industrial Development Board members present included Chairman David Wagner, Nancy Cook, Dirk Crandell, and Jeff Jones. Sullivan County Commissioners Mark Hutton and Mark Vance were also in attendance. City staff members present included City Manager Bill Sorah, City Attorney Danielle Smith, Director of Development Services Tim Beavers, Director of Economic Development Tom Anderson, Director of Community Relations Terrie Talbert, Director of Parks and Recreation Terry Napier, Business Development Specialist Jon Luttrell, and Information Technology Specialist Greg Cross. In addition, Mr. Mark Mamantov, of Bass Berry & Sims, was in attendance to deliver an educational presentation on the use of economic development incentives and their value in creating growth opportunities for a community. The agenda for the meeting included the following items for discussion, with no formal action being taken. 1.
