Minutes of the Bristol Tennessee City Council Called Work Session January 13,2026 The City Council called work session was brought to order by Mayor Vince Turner on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. in the conference room of the Ewell Easley Municipal Annex. Members of City Council present included Mayor Vince Turner, Vice Mayor Lea Powers, Councilwoman Rae Akard, Councilwoman Margaret Feierabend, and Councilman Matt Slagle. City staff members present included City Manager Kelli Bourgeois, City Attorney Danielle Smith, Director of Administration Mary Lee Williams, Director of Planning Services Cherith Young, Director of Community Relations Jon Luttrell, Director of Parks and Recreation Mike Mains, Director of Public Works Brian Ramsey, Finance Director Hollie Verran, Director of Utilities Mark Quickel, Accounting and Budget Manager Sheridan Perumal, Director of Economic Development Tom Anderson, Director of Community Events and Engagement Terry Napier, Police Chief Matt Austin, Fire Chief Mike Carrier, and IT Network Technician Nick Fugate.
