CITY OF BRITT – BRITT IOWA – SEPTEMBER 21ST, 2020 The City Council of the City of Britt, Iowa met in pursuant to law and the rules of said Council in a special session at the Britt Gazebo Park at 5:30 o’clock P.M. the 21st day of September 2020. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Arndorfer, and the following Council members were: PRESENT: Stacy Swenson, Curt Gast, and Karrie Wallen, ABSENT: Paul Verbrugge and Chad Luecht The Mayor presented the agenda for approval. It was moved by Gast and seconded by Swenson to approve the agenda as presented. Council discussed the response from Candidate A and agreed to offer $17.50/hour. It was moved by Gast and seconded by Wallen to offer candidate A $17.50 per hour. Once the applicant completes his Grade I Wastewater certification he will be given the normal increase per policy. Motion carried by unanimous vote. With no further business it was moved by Gast and seconded by Wallen to adjourn the meeting.
