CITY OF BRITT – BRITT IOWA – OCTOBER 7, 2020 The City Council of the City of Britt, Iowa met in pursuant to law and the rules of said Council in a special session at the Britt Gazebo Park at 5:30 o’clock P.M. the 7th day of October 2020. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Arndorfer, and the following Council members were: PRESENT: Curt Gast, and Karrie Wallen, Paul Verbrugge and Chad Luecht ABSENT: Stacy Swenson Earl Hill, City Attorney, was present to discuss the plat for the Burgardt Commercial Park. Apparently, the extra land the co-op gifted this city for the Burgardt Commercial Park was not included in the final plat filed at the Hancock County Courthouse. The document Hill presented City Council with includes the additional piece of land that was absent in the former plat. Hill presented City Council with Resolution 27-2020 Approving the Amended Final Plat and Dedication of Burgardt Commercial Park in Britt, Iowa. It was moved by Luecht and seconded by Verbrugge to approve Resolution 27-2020 Approving the Amended Final Plat and Dedication of Burgardt Commercial Park in Britt, Iowa. A roll call vote was had which was as follows: Ayes: Gast, Wallen, Verbrugge & Luecht Nays: None The motion carried, and the Resolution was approved and adopted. With no further business it was moved by Luecht and seconded by Verbrugge to adjourn the meeting.
