ROLL CALL Commission Members present: Chairman C.P. Hall II, Commissioner Ray Williamson, and Commissioner Linda Dumas Commissioner Members Absent: None Also in Attendance: Deputy Chief of Police Jim Mihalik and HR Manager Brad Mitchell OMNIBUS AGENDA 1. Approval of Minutes: Fire and Police Commissioners Regular Meeting held on February 5, 2025 Motion by Commissioner Dumas, seconded by Chairman C.P. Hall to approve the regular meeting minutes from February 5, 2025. Upon roll call, the motion carried as follows: Ayes: Chairman C.P. Hall II, Commissioner Williamson, and Commissioner Dumas. Nays: None. Abstain: None. Absent: None. PUBLIC COMMENT None A. Approval of Final Primary Eligibility Register for Entry Level Firefighter/Paramedic Motion by Commissioner Dumas, seconded by Chairman C.P. Hall to approve the Final Promotional Eligibility Register for Entry Level Firefighter/Paramedic. Upon roll call, the motion carried as follows: Ayes: Chairman C.P. Hall II, Commissioner Williamson, and Commissioner Dumas. Nays: None. Abstain: None. Absent: None. B. Status of the creation of a new list for Entry Level Police Officer Deputy Chief Mihalik stated there were 2 no-shows, therefore, only 14 candidates participated. HR Manager Mitchell stated that next IOS was accepting requests to include preference points before producing the final list. C. Status on Police lateral hiring Deputy Chief Mihalik gave an update on the status of Police lateral hiring.
