Common Council Chambers – City Hall 2000 N. Calhoun Road - Brookfield, WI Midwest Detox, LLC is requesting approval of a conditional use ordinance permitting occupancy of an existing building at 13850 West Capitol Drive by two, medical substance abuse programs. The site is zoned “O&LB” Office and Limited Business District. Per 17.108 of the municipal code, hospitals are conditional uses permitted in any zoning district unless expressly prohibited, subject to specific authorization by the Common Council preceded by a public hearing. The meeting is an open house. No presentation will be made. Representatives of Midwest Detox, LLC will be present to answer questions about the project. City staff will answer questions regarding the conditional use process. My office will represent the City of Brookfield and collect written comments for the Common Council and Plan Commission. A public hearing regarding this matter is scheduled for July 8, 2019. A separate public hearing notice will be mailed. If you have any questions, please contact: Daniel F. It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of members of governmental bodies of the municipality may be in attendance at the above-stated meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental body at the above-stated meeting.
