As a neighbor1 or property owner of the proposed “PDD” Planned Development District rezoning you are hereby invited by the City of Brookfield to a Neighborhood Information Meeting to be held on: Wednesday, October 5, 2022 - 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Council Chambers – Brookfield City Hall 2000 N. Calhoun Road - Brookfield, WI Wisconsin Robinson Family LP, owner, is working with Lincoln Avenue Capital development team to propose a rezoning of properties at the southeast corner of Bishops Way and Bishops Lane, current site of two multi- tenant office buildings. The request would amend the zoning of property tax keys BRC1107999004 and BRC1107999003 to Planned Development District (PDD). The rezoning is in association with the applicant’s proposed redevelopment plans for a mixed-use project consisting of an apartment building with live/work units providing business occupancy at ground floor on the site. The Bishop’s Woods Neighborhood Plan would also be amended for consistency with the City’s 2050 Comprehensive Plan regarding the development proposal. The meeting is an open house. No presentation will be made. Representatives of the proposal will be available to discuss the details of the project, listen to comments, and answer questions. City staff will be present to answer questions regarding the rezoning and amendment process and to provide clarity on information regarding City plans. My office will represent the City of Brookfield and collect written comments for the Common Council and Plan Commission. A public hearing regarding this matter is scheduled for October 18, 2022. A separate public hearing notice will be mailed. It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of members of governmental bodies of the municipality may be in attendance at the above-stated meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental body at the above-stated meeting.
