Call to Order. 5:31 Meeting called to order by Mr. Rodrigo Moreno. 2. Public Comment Period. No public comments.  3. Discussion, Consideration and Action to approve the Minutes of December 11, 2019, of the Brownsville Border Film Advisory Commission Meeting. Mr. Rodrigo Moreno moves to approve the meeting minutes of Dec. 11 2019, Mr. Meme Garza and Mr. Michael De los Santos both approve. Motion passes. 4. Discussion of Brownsville Border Film Advisory Commission website – Communications & Marketing Department. 5:33 Mr. Felipe Romero shares the Film Commission website template with a new logo. He stresses the need for additional information and content. Mr. Rodrigo Moreno suggests creating a directory of information— regrading contact information on talent and location. Mr. Jesus Trevino mentions that creating a form similar to the Texas Film Commission’s may be helpful. Mr. Rene suggests creating a Facebook page, utilizing it to invite individuals to sign up. Discussion continues on whether the site with standalone or be in connection with Brownsville’s site. 5. Discussion of Brownsville Border Film Advisory Commissioner position – Jesus Trevino. 6:00 Mr. Jesus Trevino address his concerns on the growth of the Brownsville Border Film Commission. Mr. Felipe Romero includes the introduction of Mr. Steven Garza and Ms. Maria Rentrop— as they are available to assist. Discussion of appointing a Film Commissioner— Mr. Rene stresses this position. This is seconded by Mr. Meme Garza. Mr. Michael De los Santos disagrees, in that the need is not urgent at the moment and instead suggests the position should be filled in the future. There is is an agreement on the need for a Film Commissioner, voiced by Mr. Rodrigo Moreno— motions to move forward with this proposal, motion passes. 6. Adjournment. 6:24 Mr. Rodrigo Moreno motions to adjourn, it is seconded by Mr. Michael De los Santos and Mr. Jesus Trevino.
