NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING OF THE
BROWNSVILLE BORDER FILM COMMISSION
Pursuant to Chapter 551, Title 5 of the Texas Government Code, the Texas Opening Meetings Act, NOTICE
IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Brownsville Border Film Commission, will be conducted on
Thursday, March 21st, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at the Brownsville Convention and Visitors Bureau located
at 1312 Adams St. Brownsville Texas, 78520.

Open Meetings Act.
Members of the public who submitted a “Public Comment Form” will be permitted to offer public
comments as provided by the agenda and as permitted by the presiding officer during the meeting. A

At the said meeting, the following items will be considered:

2.)Public Comments
a. The “Public Comment Form” is designated for speakers to recognize and address the
Brownsville Border Film Commission, as a whole – do not direct your comments to
any individual members of the committee.
b. Kindly submit a “Public Comment Form” an hour before the start of the scheduled
meeting time with the City Secretary or online. Forms are not reserved for anyone, nor
may time be deferred to anyone. PowerPoint presentations may not be accommodated.
c. The public comment period is a total of 9 minutes.
d. There is a three (3) ‐minute time limit per speaker.
e. For the record, the speaker must identify by name before speaking.
