MEETING - 4:00 P.M. 1. Determination of a quorum. 2. Call to Order. 3. Consideration and Action to approve the minutes of August 14, 2014 and August 21,2014. 4. Presentation and Acknowledgment of BCIC Payables. 5. Discussion and Action on license agreement with the Brownsville Wellness Coalition regarding the Belden Trail Community Garden. 6. Discussion and Action on MOU between BCIC and the City of Brownsville regarding the transfer of $18,678 from the construction budget of the FY 2011 Bicycle/Belden Trail Project. 7. Discussion and Action on open projects for Fiscal Year 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013. 8. Discussion and Action on BCIC Cycle 2 Promotional Applications. 9. Executive Session: Discussion pursuant to Section 551.074, of the Texas Government Code regarding personnel matters related to hiring an executive director. 10. Consideration and Action on items discussed in executive session if any. 11. BOARD COMMENTS: relating to items of public interest: Announcements regarding local or regional civic and charitable events, staff recognition, commendation of citizens, upcoming meetings, informational update on projects, awards, acknowledgement of meeting attendees, birthdays, requests for items to be placed on upcoming agendas, and condolences. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: PLEASE NOTE: • ANY PERSON WITH BUSINESS BEFORE THE BClC BOARD, NOT SCHEDULED ON THE AGENDA AS A PUBLIC HEARING, MAY SPEAK TO THE BOARD. • "PUBLIC COMMENT FORMS" ARE LOCATED AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE MEETING ROOM. • "PUBLIC COMMENT FORMS" MUST BE FILLED OUT AND PRESENTED TO THE BClC STAFF FIFTEEN (15) MINUTES PRIOR TO THE MEETING. • THERE IS A THREE (3)-MINUTE TIME LIMIT PER SPEAKER. • THE SPEAKER MUST IDENTIFY BY NAME BEFORE SPEAKING. • NO FORMAL ACTION CAN BE TAKEN.
