THE STATE OF TEXAS § CITY OF BROWNSVILLE § COUNTY OF CAMERON § NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING OF THE BROWNSVillE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT CORPORATION Pursuant to Chapter 551, Title 5 of the Texas Government Code, the Texas Open Meetings Act, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Meeting of the BROWNSVilLE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT CORPORATION (BCIC) will be held Thursday, September 25, 2014, at 4:00 p.m., at the City of Brownsville City Commission Conference Room, located on the second (2nd) floor, 1001 East Elizabeth Street, Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas, 78520. MEETING - 4:00 P.M. 1. Determination of a quorum. 2. Call to Order. 3. Executive Session: Discussion pursuant to Section 551.074, of the Texas Government Code regarding personnel matters related to hiring an executive director. 4. Consideration and Action on items discussed in executive session if any. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: PLEASE NOTE: • ANY PERSON WITH BUSINESS BEFORE THE BCIC BOARD, NOT SCHEDULED ON THE AGENDA AS A PUBLIC HEARING, MAY SPEAK TO THE BOARD. • "PUBLIC COMMENT FORMS" ARE LOCATED ATTHE ENTRANCE TO THE MEETING ROOM. • "PUBLIC COMMENT FORMS" MUST BE FILLED OUT AND PRESENTED TO THE BClC STAFF FIFTEEN (15) MINUTES PRIOR TO THE MEETING. • THERE IS A THREE (3)-MINUTE TIME LIMIT PER SPEAKER. • THE SPEAKER MUST IDENTIFY BY NAME BEFORE SPEAKING. • NO FORMAL ACTION CAN BE TAKEN.
