NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee of the
City of Brownsville, Texas, will be conducted on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 5:30pm at the

3. Approval of the Minutes of the last meeting of October 12, 2023.

to City Commission.
• Consideration, Action, and Discussion of Brownsville Parks and Recreation tour.

Championship Tournaments for 11- & 12-year-old for NFL Co-Ed Flag Football and
Youth Fall Volleyball for 2023. (Tito Mata)
• Discussion of Parks and Recreation policies and procedures. (Alan Guard)
• Consideration, Action, and Discussion on a request from Parks and Recreation, and
Parks Advisory Board for design and installation of landscaping at Veteran’s Park
surrounding the installation of the Huey Helicopter.
