Velasquez for returning his neighbor’s bike from River View Park and for painting the military flag poles on the Avenue of Flags. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS None COMMITTEE REPORTS Council Member Sanchez announced he attended the Arts and Culture Committee meeting and provided an oral report for the record. Council Member Sanchez announced he attended the Library Advisory Committee meeting and provided an oral report for the record. PUBLIC HEARINGS None BUSINESS ITEMS 4. Six-Month Report for Fiscal Year 2021-22 from the Buellton Visitors Bureau RECOMMENDATION: That the City Council receive a six-month report from the Buellton Visitors Bureau. STAFF REPORT: Finance Director Zamora presented the staff report. City Council Meeting Minutes Page 3 February 10, 2022 SPEAKERS/DISCUSSION: Kathy Vreeland, Executive Director of the Buellton Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau spoke about their marketing plans going forward. Correction of Contract with Buellton Business Association/Chamber of Commerce for Operation of a Visitors Bureau RECOMMENDATION: That the City Council consider approval of the Fourth contract amendment with the Buellton Business Association/Chamber of Commerce for operation of the Visitors Bureau and approve the budget line item in the amount of $6,828.30. Consideration of Agreement for the Operation of Zaca Creek Golf Course with Mike Brown RECOMMENDATION: That the City Council consider approving the proposed agreement with Zaca Creek Golf Course and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement. STAFF REPORT: Public Works Director Hess presented the staff report. City Council Meeting Minutes Page 4 February 10, 2022 SPEAKERS/DISCUSSION: The City Council thanked Mike Brown and staff for all the changes made to the Zaca Creek Golf Course and that the golf course is a great asset to Buellton. MOTION: Motion by Council Member Andrisek, seconded by Council Member Lewis, approving the agreement with Zaca Creek Golf Course and authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement.
