Mayor King called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

PUBLIC COMMENTS
A.J. Tarman, Buellton, requested traffic enforcement along Highway 246 to slow vehicle
speeds through Buellton.

Motion by Vice Mayor Sanchez, seconded by Council Member Lewis, approving Consent

California, Approving, Authorizing and Directing Execution of A Joint Exercise of
Powers Agreement Relating to the California Municipal Finance Authority and
Approving A Plan of Finance for the Issuance of Revenue Bonds by the Authority to
Finance and Refinance A Qualified Residential Rental Project for the Benefit of
Buellton Garden Apartments, L.P., and Certain Other Matters Relating Thereto”
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council consider adoption of Resolution No. 23-18.
STAFF REPORT:
City Manager Wolfe presented the staff report.
SPEAKERS/DISCUSSION:
Mayor King reopened the continued public hearing at 6:04 p.m. There being no public
comment, Mayor King closed the Public Hearing at 6:05 p.m.
The Council discussed the project location and specifics regarding the revenue bonds.

Motion by Council Member Lewis, seconded by Vice Mayor Sanchez approving

Council meeting of August 24, 2023 has been cancelled.

Speaker Slip to be completed and turned in to the City Clerk prior to commencement of meeting. Any person may
address the Council on any subject pertaining to City business, including all items on the agenda not listed as a Public
Hearing, including the Consent Agenda and Closed Session. Limited to three (3) minutes per speaker. By law, no
action may be taken at this meeting on matters raised during Public Comments not included on this agenda. Public
Speakers using a translator are allotted a total of six (6) minutes to speak, unless simultaneous translation equipment is
used.
