Hold a public hearing and consider an ordinance establishing the zoning for property located at 21735 State Highway 46 West, Bulverde, Texas 78163 as Planned Development District – Lewis Creek Commercial, with a base zoning of C-1 Commercial and additional uses. Public Hearing closed by Mayor Bill Krawietz at 7:08 PM. Motion: Council Member, Place 6 Salmon made a motion seconded by Council Member, Place 2 Chapman to Approve. Motion carried (5) ayes to (1) nays. Ordinance #728 3.IV. Consider an ordinance amending the zoning for property located at 32685 US Highway 281 North, Bulverde, Texas 78163 to Planned Development District – 32685 US Highway 281 North, with a base zoning of C-2 Commercial plus convenience store with gasoline sales. Motion: Mayor Krawietz made a motion seconded by Council Member, Place 4 Hays to Deny. Motion approved (6) ayes to (0) nays. 3.V. Consider an ordinance amending Ordinance 435 and codifying provisions related to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board as Division 5, Article 1.02, Code of Ordinances of the City of Bulverde, Texas. Motion: Council Member, Place 5 Bullock made a motion seconded by Council Member, Place 4 Hays to Approve. Motion carried (6) ayes to (0) nays. Ordinance #729 3.VI. Consider approval of the City Council Meeting Minutes for April 11, 2023. Motion: Mayor Krawietz made a motion seconded by Council Member, Place 5 Bullock to Approve. Motion carried (6) ayes to (0) nays. PUBLIC COMMENTS NOT RELATED TO POSTED AGENDA ITEMS REPORTS BY ELECTED OFFICIALS AND CITY STAFF ON ITEMS OF COMMUNITY INTEREST EXECUTIVE SESSION At 7:55 P.M. the City Council convened into Executive Session to discuss the following: 6.I. Pursuant to Texas Government Code § 551.071, the City Council shall convene in a closed session to conduct a private consultation with the City’s attorney regarding pending or contemplated litigation, specifically, claims against Pape Dawson Consulting Engineers and Pesado Construction Company. At 8:02 P.M. the City Council reconvened from Executive Session and took the following action on items discussed in Executive Session. No Action Taken ADJOURNMENT 8:02 P.M.
